  1. Respect everyone’s differences and opinions. They are what make each of us unique and beautiful.

  2. Aim to create together.

  3. Mistakes are just happy accidents. Welcome them with a positive attitude and grow through learning new ideas.

4. Do your best every day.

At the beginning of each school year, I plan to create a set of rules with each of my classes. Being that I will have many different classes at different ages, this will be a time-consuming task, but I believe this will create a stronger bond between the students and me. To change the display for each class that comes in, I will put them in order on hooks over my bulletin boards separated by grade. I will always allow for the students to include what they feel is important as a class, but I will keep this set of rules as a guideline to potentially lead them to, especially for the younger students who may have trouble coming up with their own rules at first.
